Our chapter’s display case features models built for our D-Day Allied Wheeled Vehicles 1944-1945 group build and some of our “Spitfire Guru” Alex Valz’s later mark 1/48 Spitfire models. Also berthed in the cabinet is Adam South’s impressive new 1/350 scale Tirpitz battleship. Several of Mike Lyons’ award winning models are also featured. The D-Day group build enjoyed great support and participation; thanks also to our display case curator Scott Oates for his time and efforts in managing our case and planning these special exhibits of excellent models.
